Dig in to a delicious 2017 with a 3-Star Michelin dining experience

For those seeking a delectable new year treat, we recommend you stay put to experience a 3-Star Michelin dining menu of the legendary Georges Blanc restaurant, presented by Resorts World Genting from January 10-27.

To kick off, from January 10-13, Chef Frédéric Desmurs, executive chef of the acclaimed restaurant group, and award-winning sommelier Fabrice Sommier will be recreating the mastery of a Restaurant Georges Blanc meal, paired with fine French wines at The Olive restaurant, Genting Grand Hotel.


Diners will find an eclectic multi-course menu that opens with an amuse-bouche of chestnut soup with black diamond candy foie gras and balsamic sailing, paired with a Cremant de Bourgogne Domaine D’azenay Georges Blanc.

Tantalising further is a first course of oyster gillardeau jelly Land and Seadish, accompanied with a highly prized Ossetra Caviar Royal. This will be paired with an earthy and mineral-enhanced Georges Blanc Bourgogne Blanc Domaine D’azenay 2015.

A classic French dish proceeds in the second course, which is the ‘Coquilles St. Jacques.’ Their version of this scallop dish is cooked in a cream sauce with shallots, mushrooms and white wine, enhanced with a scarlet lemonade and verbena. In keeping with the seafood theme, savour the Burst of Blue Lobster,’ bathed in wine and morels that goes swimmingly well with a glass of the floral Saint Romain JP Merchand. 

Culminating in a sweet note is the Pick in Passion dessert; a delectable chocolate creation accompanied with the Armagnac 18 ans Gelas.
