Resorts World Genting is setting the mood to amorous and the atmosphere to passionate for couples spending the special day swaddled in clouds 6,000 feet above sea level. From fabulous retail offers to exciting entertainment packages, Resorts World Genting has prepared all the ingredients for a memorable Valentine’s and what better way to end the day than with a romantic meal at Resorts World Genting.

At The Olive, recipes to evoke the spirit of love will be served up in a special 4-course set menu (RM300 nett). Beginning with the presentation of a rose to the lady, the meal for the couple starts with an aphrodisiacal amuse bouche – a delicate Mi Cuit Oyster.

An Avocado Gravlax salad – with Quinoa, Heirloom Tomatoes, Tangerine Confit, Celery Leaves, Genovese Basil and Frisse Lettuce – starts the meal proper

before moving into a soup course of Latte Beetroot with Charcoal Garlic Toast, with the deep red of the liquid representing the depths of love

For the main course, couples can choose from a hearty Lamb Loin with Capsicum Pesto, Aubergine, Rosemary Burnt Butter and Onion Jus or

a delicate Barbequed Cod with Beetroot, Parsnip Puree, Burnt Fennel and Sautéed Mushrooms.

End the meal with a decadent V8 Vanilla in 8 Texture and complimentary chocolates, then linger longer in the lounge while gazing into each other’s eyes over cocktails – a James Bond-inspired The Vesper (RM35 nett) for the men, a feisty Scatlett O’Hara (RM35 nett) for the ladies.

Burger & Lobster is serving up a storm with its Tower of Love that comes with a bottle of Moet Chandon Champagne.  For something lighter, head to Cafes Richard for their Eiffel Tower of Love that comes with two glasses of Champagne Drappier Carte d’Or or Park Avenue Lounge for High Tea with two glasses of Champagne Drappeir Carte d’Or.

For a fun time, head to Highline for their three days special promotion which comes with a pail of seafood and two cocktails for the couple to share plus the lady gets a stalk of rose too.

Meanwhile at Flavours, the restaurant’s special Valentine’s Day 3-course set menu comes with a flower for the lady (RM170 nett per couple/RM88 nett per person) – the lady is greeted with a showy stalk as the couple is seated for dinner. An amuse bouche of Breaded Crab Claw and a soup of Creamy Asparagus Soup with Basil Pesto Oil sets the tone for a luxuriously languid dinner, perfected only with a glass of Hermanos Lurton Resorts World House Pouring Wine (RM24 nett). The main course features the freshest catch of the ocean or the fields: a choice of either a Pan-Fried Norwegian Salmon and Seafood Aglio Olio Pasta or Grilled Wagyu Beef Marble 5 with Seafood Aglio Olio Pasta.
