Three times the humour, three times the fun: Get ready to be mobbed by the latest edition of Laugh Die You

KUALA LUMPUR: Get ready for some rib-tickling action as Singaporean and Malaysian comedians joust on stage for comedic supremacy in the fourth and latest edition of Laugh Die You - The Mob.

This time round, the showcase will be hosted by Malaysian comedian Kuah Jenhan, Singaporean Mark Lee and Australian based in Singapore, Jonathan Atherton.

This fourth instalment of Laugh Die You is set to ride on the success of its previous edition, Laugh Die You 3 - Karaoke, which was held in Kuala Lumpur last May. That version featured comedians like Singaporean Gurmit Singh a.k.a. Phua Chu Kang and Malaysia’s Queen of Comedy, Joanna Kam.

Kevin Tan, vice president of promotions and entertainment at Resorts World Genting, said the trio will take centre stage throughout the 150-minute show on Feb 11, 2017 at the Genting International Showroom.

“Expect Laugh Die You to be an exhilarating comedy showcase that will give the audience plenty to laugh about!” he said.

As with previous Laugh Die You editions, the audience will be treated to a variety of jokes underpinned by the classic bickering between Malaysians and Singaporeans. The trio will be poking fun at each other but all in good fun, of course.

“What’s interesting about the Laugh Die You - The Mob is that it breaks up the usual pace of stand-up comedy shows as we (the hosts) will also be playing games with the audience. Plus we have many exciting gifts to give away,” said Kuah, when met at the press conference of Laugh Die You earlier today at The Gardens, Midvalley.

Local singer Michael Leaner will also be making a special appearance during the show.

Tickets for Laugh Die You - The Mob are priced at RM308 (VIP), RM258 (PS1) and RM158 (PS2). An early bird promotion (until Jan 15 2017) offers a 15% discount for Genting Rewards Club (GRC) members while non-members get a 10% off.
