Everybody's favourite highlands in Malaysia may be high up in the clouds at over 6,000 feet above sea level, but in this day and age, accessibility is surely not a problem.

#1 Express Bus

The Go Genting Express Bus is available at a few stations if you are travelling from Kuala Lumpur. This service is available at:
• KL Sentral Station
• Terminal Putra LRT Gombak
• One Utama, Petaling Jaya

This is a highly recommended way to get to Genting Highlands as the bus fare is really cheap and it takes only between 45 minutes and an hour to reach Genting’s Lower Skyway Station.

#2 Skyway Cable Car

Upon reaching the Lower Skyway Cable Car Station at Gohtong Jaya by Go Genting Express Bus or other transportation, you may take the cable car all the way up to Genting Highlands’ Resort Hotel station.

For only RM 6.40 for a one-way ticket, you will enjoy the breathtaking rainforest scenery and cool mountain breeze during the journey.

#3 Taxi

Taxi services are available for those travelling  from Kuala Lumpur to RWG and vice versa. Check with the taxi service provider or driver to find out more about rates and availability.

#4 Car
You may find the thought of driving up to the resort daunting but rest assured, the roads are safe. You will find them to be wide and in a good condition so as to ensure the safety of every driver.

The best thing about taking your own car up? Well, you get to travel at your own pace, enjoying the scenic views and the wonderfully cool air as you ascend or descend. Ordinarily, it's only an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur.

#5 Limousine

Limousine service is available round the clock (24 hours) and passengers can be picked up anywhere nationwide, including Singapore.

#6 Shuttle Bus Services

Shuttle bus service

There are a few places such as Awana Hotel, Chin Swee Temple and Mushroom Bus Terminal, that are slightly farther away from the peak but you don't have to worry about transportation. Complimentary shuttle service is available at Resorts World Genting to transport visitors to and from hotels and cable car stations to these destinations.
