There’s not only many fun things to see, eat and do at
Resorts World Genting but the whole resorts is a photo-taking paradise! If
you’re up for a holiday, why not bring your smart phones, cameras and selfie
sticks and set out to capture some amazing photos you’ll cherish forever!
First, head on over to the First World Hotel, also known as
the World’s Biggest Hotel in the Guinness World Records with a whopping 7351
rooms! Everywhere from the entrance to
the food terminal at B2 are amazing photo spots, some rather hidden that you’ll
have to explore to find out!
Appear smaller than you are with this fun photo illusion
Hang, not quite literally, from this man’s fingers!
Look, I’m a beautiful butterfly! Remember this line from A
Bug’s Life? Well, you can be a butterfly too if you want! Just stand before the
wings to snap a photo
For this one, you’ll
have to stand just at the right spot for a great photo. See below how to do it!
Why not tell everyone you’ve been to the World’s Largest
Hotel? Check out this awesome sign at the First World Hotel lobby.
A lush, tropical ‘rainforest’ greets guests who arrive at
the First World Hotel. Look up and you might spot an animal or two and even a
ssssssssssss-snake?? The fairy lights are so pretty too and will definitely
make a good photo!
Check out the stunning views of the 130 million year old
rainforest that surrounds Resorts World Genting on the way to Tower 3 of First
World Hotel. Drop by at sunrise or sunset and you’re in for a spectacular view
of the clouds!
The fun hallway makes for a great photo backdrop too!
As you walk from the First World Hotel to SkyAvenue, you’ll
find a stunning light show of 1,001 winch balls suspended from the ceiling
which are presented in the form of four shows: Ocean Groove with Maestro Ning,
Forest, Urban Symphony and Goddess. Your visit to Resorts World Genting would
not be complete without watching this, which will be like nothing you’ve ever
seen before. See here for showtimes: https://www.rwgenting.com/attractions/SkySymphony/
Next, take a walk over to Level 1 of SkyAvenue with some
great photo spots. First up is Cafes Richard. Have some high tea and don’t
forget to take a photo with the glamourous background and black and white
tiles. You’ll look like you’re in Paris!
Another must-take photo is in front of the Burger &
Lobster outlet. Made up of many, many lobster cages, take a photo in front of
the first Burger & Lobster outlet in Southeast Asia.
Head down to Level G to the exciting gaming bar, RedTail by
Zouk! Over by the mural wall is a stunning work of art featuring their mascot,
the adorable Xiao Hong. This will definitely be a colourful addition to your
Instagram. The whole place is a photo haven with neon signs aplenty too!
Take a 5-minute walk from RedTail to the Genting Grand lobby
and you’ll see a massive work of art ‘Horse’ by Fernando Botero Angulo. The
works of the artist hailing from Colombia can be found in highly visible places
around the world, including Park Avenue in New York City, the Champs-Elysees in
Paris and Many more. ‘Boterisimo’ is his own version of Baroque art, created by
observing the rules of clarity, rhythm and harmony and achieving in material
form a sensuous exaggerated delight that is clearly his own.
This list would not be complete without mentioning Alive
Museum, a 3D trick art museum over at Level 4 of SkyAvenue. There are many
photo spots where you can have fun posing with your friends and family. Best of
all, the art is unique and is hand painted by artists from South Korea.
The Ripley’s Believe
it or Not! Odditorium is also a wacky and whimsical place to take photos at.
Also located at Level 4 of SkyAvenue, you can pose with strange objects such as
this gorilla made out of tires!
Why not head outdoors and enjoy some fresh breeze whilst
you’re at it? Outside of the Genting Grand hotel is a lovely photo spot at the
