Fever 2018 celebrated the world’s most loved sport by kicking off the
festivities with appearances by football legend Michael Owen during the opening
of the games. Fans of ‘the beautiful game’ turned up in droves to see the
player of Liverpool fame in person as Meet & Greet sessions, a football
clinic and the Opening Match Viewing party was held. Commencing on 14 June, a fun-filled
roster of activities at the Football Village built specifically for the event
at the Arena Courtyard, in front of the Arena of Stars will continue until the

Resorts World Genting for probably the fifth time where I’ve always enjoyed
myself. I’m looking forward to the Finals this Sunday, watching the match with
the fans during Genting Football Fever 2018 where I’m going to go for Croatia
to win. Although France looks better on paper, Croatia have been a standout
team as they’ve gone into extra time for several matches.
Paul Scholes took the
reverse view, supporting France saying, “Kylian Mbappé has been sensational so
it will be a tight game and I’m sure he will be one of the best players on the
planet one day. Both were proud of how well England had done entering the
Semi-Finals and Paul Scholes added “It’s good seeing such a young and energetic
team comprised of excellent young players, where they advanced further than
anyone thought they would. We’re proud of what they’ve achieved for the country
for this tournament.
