Interested in a
relatively quick grub and not sure where to get your fix? Look no further as
Hanburger, a burger and pizza place by Lim Keong Han, is now nestled on level 1
of the indoor Skytropolis theme park. You can find this part food truck and
restaurant under the Sky VR.
Lim Keong Han the
son of Resorts World Genting Chairman Lim Kok Thay decided to open the burger
joint because when life throws you a burger, we say: eat it! Well at least
that’s what Han’s burger motto is.
caters to those who love their share of fast food, the likes of burgers, hot
dawgs, pizzas, and even pies. Imagine a juicy mustard grilled double wagyu beef
patty, applewood smoked beef bacon, caramelized onions, American cheese,
gherkin, tomato relish sandwiched between lettuce and two toasty buns . Bet the
thought alone has you salivating. Now that’s the Hanburger, a signature at the
restaurant. There are of course an array
of other burgers to pick from, including another classic commonly known as the
cheeseburger. You can also opt between the Smokey Robinson chicken sandwich and
the spicy chicken sandwich, both of which features a succulent deep fried boneless
chicken thigh fillet. Sauces are an equally important ingredient whereby they
complement the patty and other ingredients in it. Not to forget the seafood
fans, there is The Codfather, yes you read that right. Aptly named the
Codfather, this one has a deep fried Atlantic cod fish fillet served with
tartar sauce, American cheese, and green lettuce.
The burgers are
served with shoestring fries and a soft drink of your choice. Alternatively you
can go ala carte if you do not want that heavy a meal.
If you find the
burger to be too much then do try the hot dawgs! There are a total of five
styles to pick from, with the go to being Classic Dawg, a foot long chicken
sausage, dawg bun, tomato relish, mustard, Han’s signature sauce, caramelized
onions, and pickled relish. Enticing? You bet! For cheese lovers here’s your
chance to indulge in some delicious American cheese, after all there is no such
thing as too much cheese. For that extra kick, there is the Spicy Hell Dawg,
which sees the similar Spicy Hellboy Infusion sauce used in the chicken burger.
For the ultimate treat, Dawgies and Mash is a must try, with its ample mash
potato serving and mushy peas you are in for a treat.
something you can share, a pizza. With the option being getting a slice or a
whole pizza. Flavours include Queen Margherita (cheese) pizza, Thor (chicken)
pizza,Momoa (hawaiian) pizza, Hellboy (Pepperoni) pizza, Tom Yum (Seafood)
pizza, and last but not least- Carne a perfect choice for meat lovers.
From Hanburger you can
move onto Pies in the Sky both of which are in the same location. Upon stepping
in one would notice the bright logos on the restaurant’s signage and on the
Hanburger food truck which is where most of the cooking takes place. The burger
logo has wings at its side and comes in neon green light whilst the pies in the
sky logo is similar with wings on either side of the pizza in the colour pink.
You won’t miss it as it is next to the merry go round.
